An opportunity has arisen to join the Development Management Team as a Planning Officer.  We are looking for a talented, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team. The successful applicant will be responsible for a varied caseload of applications and related matters, including preparing reports for Planning Committee and will be expected to manage their caseload of applications and pre-application enquiries to achieve quality planning outcomes and meeting national and local performance targets.

The successful applicant will have a relevant degree in town planning as well as some experience of working within Development Management and will deal with a full range of applications including (but not be limited to) a variety of residential and business schemes, advertisements, householder applications, changes of use and planning appeals.
